Baby teeth have the same structure as permanent ones, including nerves and canals. If the nerves in a baby tooth become infected, the infection can travel through the canals to the developing permanent tooth, leading to future problems: permanent teeth may emerge with various defects. Moreover, if timely treatment is not provided, there is a risk of losing the baby tooth, which can result in:
